Jay, Shane, Ethan & Riley — the family behind Fleurieu Pet Pantry 🐾

We're Jay and Shane Dannenberg, a family in the heart of the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Along with our two sons, Ethan and Riley, and our beloved fur family — Echo our Blue Heeler, and cats Moochie and Theodore (our newest addition, found out the back of our shop in Yankalilla!) — we know firsthand what it means to love your pets like family.

Our Story

In 2020, we built our dream home in Normanville and quickly fell in love with everything the Fleurieu Peninsula had to offer. It wasn't long before Echo joined our family, and with him came a challenge we hadn't anticipated — finding high-quality dog food locally was harder than it should be.

Meet Echo — our Blue Heeler and the inspiration behind Fleurieu Pet Pantry 🐾

That frustration sparked an idea. After a few years of searching for better options for Echo, we decided to do something about it. In April 2025, Fleurieu Pet Pantry was born — and what a whirlwind year it has been!

Why We Do It

We believe every pet deserves quality nutrition and care, no matter where you live. Our community means everything to us, and we want to make it easier for local families — and pet lovers everywhere — to access the best products for their furry family members.

Now, with our online store, we're excited to extend that same care and service beyond our local community to pet lovers across Australia.
